“For behold, when the voice of your greeting came to my ears, the babe in my womb left for joy.” (Luke 4:6).
When you hear the scripture readings and Gospel each Sunday, do you “leap for joy?” If not, don’t blame the lecturer or priest; rather look inside yourself. Do you prepare for Mass each week or do you just show up and expect to be entertained? We are called to be active participants, not passive by-standers.
SOLEMNITY OF MARY, MOTHER OF GOD MASSES
Please note that there will now be a vigil Mass for January 1, the Solemnity of Mary, the Mother of God at 5:30 PM as well as the regular 9AM and 11:30AM Masses.
NEXT WEEKEND COLLECTION
Next weekend there will be only one collection, the regular Stewardship.
